An American medical technology company wanted to convert from a thermoformed tub to a chipboard carton. The focus was to make a more dense load for shipping economies and a lower cost package.
The customer needed to fit the new packaging line into the existing space of the prior line and re-deploy as much existing equipment as possible.
By working closely with the customer, the Brenton applications and engineering teams created a customer integrated packaging solution to accommodate allotted footprint. The End of Line system was comprised of a custom cartoner, case packer and robotic palletizer. The system also included vertical accumulation for the carton, labeling, barcode scanning and weighing.
