The Model HLG is Scandia's ergonomic alternative to the vertical cartoner. This hand loaded machine operates in a 30 degree angled plane allowing easier loading of all products, especially heavy products and multiple units, as the operator can see to the bottom of the carton being loaded. With a standard two person load station the carton can cycle up to 90 cartons per minute. The loading area can be extended to accommodate 5 operator stations for those applications that require different items to be loaded into the same carton.

Modular Construction
Modular components permit upgrade to automatic loading. Allows tie-in to other Scandia packaging and optional equipment. Ability to extend load stations for increased productivity.

Flexible Design
160 degree carton pre-break for positive opening. Choice of four carton set-up methods. Tuck or glue carton closure capability.

Digital readout single crank adjustment ensures fast and reliable accurate repeat setups.

Productivity
The proprietary 30-degree incline of the feed table minimizes the physical operator fatigue of lifting and twisting by using the weight of the product and gravity to assist the loading effort.
