The Tamp Apply applicator has the most accurate label placement technology in its class. Designed for small to medium labels (1/2” x 1/2” to 6” x 8”) with flat substrates, the Tamp Apply Applicator has a Medium-High Applying Speed. There are a variety of different types of tamp models available in the Paragon tamp family including: Smart Tamp, Tamp Blow, High Speed Tamp, Extended Length Tamp, Custom Tamp, and High Speed Tamp Blow. All versions of the Tamp Apply applicator are available on all Paragon models and operate as follows:

• A label is dispensed onto a vacuum pad

• The product is detected
• The air cylinder engages, causing the entire pad to come in contact with the substrate for just a moment
• The air cylinder retracts and the next label is dispensed onto the pad
